There is something very special about running on empty roads in a city of millions, which is usually filled with cars and buses, and that is exactly what you will experience when you run the Moscow Marathon with Above Borders! This tour has been arranged together with the Mikkeller Running Club (MRC). However, everyone is welcome to join the tour.
You will also see the most important places in Russia’s beautiful capital Moscow, where we, among other things, visit the Red Square, the Kremlin and the Moscow Metro. You will also experience the Russian culture by trying a Russian ‘Banya’ and preparing a traditional Russian meal.
We have dinner together at a local restaurant close to the hotel.
Please note that airline tickets are not included in the trip. You can fly directly from Copenhagen to Moscow.
We also visit the Red Square, where you will find the iconic Vasily Cathedral, Lenin’s Mausoleum, the State Historical Museum, the GUM department store and the Kazan Cathedral.
After a visit to the Alexander Garden, we have lunch at a local restaurant.
Then we take a walk down Arbat, which is one of the oldest pedestrian streets in Moscow, filled with musicians, artists, shops, restaurants and cafes.
In the evening, we have dinner at a local restaurant close to the hotel.
In the evening we celebrate that we have completed a marathon (or 10 km) in Moscow with a delicious dinner at a local restaurant.
In the evening we take a cooking class where we learn how to make a traditional Russian dinner.
Due to the general tourism in Russia, the program is subject to change. Adjustments will be made before and during the trip, but we will do everything we can to update you regularly. In case something gets canceled, we will find alternative activities.
When you travel with Above Borders we will always send a tour leader to join the group tour. This is our guarantee to ensure:
